I can't believe they turned the end of Whiplash into a game

The sound effects and and animations are really fun - this is a really well made little minigame.

Really stylistic game. I love the attention to detail here - like how the music gets filtered when you pause. Would love to see this get expanded on!

Quite a fun and unique card game! And really well-polished. I'll probably be playing more of this.

A couple ideas:
Would be nice to have a setting (unless I've missed it) to adjust the speed of the animations. Also I've been disconnected a few times, so it would be nice in singleplayer at least to be able to carry on from where you left off when you reconnect.

I like the parallax effect, it's really well tuned and gives a feeling of size to definitely-not-bowser.

Fun idle game. I like the production chain aspect - kind of reminds me of Anno strangely enough. High scores don't seem to be working though, unless I'm missing something. Do you have to restart your tower?

Thank you! Indeed, looks like the stats are not sending - I'm looking into it now and will update the game
UPD: fixed that, thanks again for info

Very nice atmospheric puzzle game. I like how the story is used to introduce the main gameplay mechanic.

A couple technical hitches though. There seems to be something funky going on with the pixel scaling on the fonts, especially with the moving text on the main menu. And I don't seem to be able to change the fullscreen option in the settings.

Quite a fun and addictive game, and a very unique idea. Seeing the world unfold as you progress is immensely satisfying. The music fits nicely as well.

Could do with a save feature (unless I missed it?). Also feels like there are some balance issues with early swords having a very long range. I didn't feel like there was much of a reason to use my ranged weapon until I got to the stone spear which was suddenly a lot shorter.

Looking forward to the steam release!

The gameplay is a ton of fun, and nice music and graphics as well. With a bit of extra polish like making the text a bit clearer, this would be perfect.

This is a really neat idea! Nicely chosen music as well - fits perfectly. Would love to see more of it in a longer game.

My main thought is that the mechanic could have been tutorialised a little better. At first I was trying to go up close to the portal and interact with it, but once I figured it out it was cool.

Thank you very much for your feedback and time. That is very nice and I'm glad you liked it. As it is a jam game, the main thing is to convey an idea, so if it is pleasant there are possibilities to imagine a bigger project in the future.
Thanks for your feedback! :)

This is a pretty cool puzzle game from what I've played so far! Stumped on level 9 atm (not sure if I'm just dumb haha)

I have small suggestion that could make things a bit smoother. It would be nice to be able to go to the next level with the spacebar instead of having to click with the mouse, that way I don't have to use two hands.

Edit: I did it!

Jordio94 responds:

Thanks for playing! I will be making it so you can navigate the menus using the keyboard, I'd find that smoother as well. Congrats on getting past level 9! If you get stuck on any others, here's a quick walkthrough: https://vimeo.com/570599400

I make dinky little games and even dinkier little music for those games.
